Beloved President of the United States, Barack Obama, Backs San Bernardino School Board Member for AD-40
SAN BERNARDINO, CA -- With just days left before the November general election, today San Bernardino School Board Member Abigail Medina received a prestegious endorsement from America's beloved President, Barack Obama, in her campaign for State Assembly District 40.
In endorsing Medina's Assembly bid, President Barack Obama released the following statement:
"I know Abigail Medina will fight to defend the progress we’ve made over the past eight years. Our children need us to keep working to make this country stronger, fairer, safer, and cleaner, and Abigail Medina will do just that. Get to the polls to vote for the candidate who has my back – and yours – Abigail Medina."
In recent days Medina has been endorsed by California Governor Jerry Brown, Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom, Attorney General Kamala Harris, and Secretary of State Alex Padilla.

San Bernardino School Board Member Abigail Medina won the June 7th primary election with 51.5% and 39,583 votes.
