San Bernardino School Board Member Generates Far-Reaching Support
SAN BERNARDINO, CA— Following a sought-after endorsement from Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO of San Bernardino & Riverside Counties last week, today San Bernardino City Unified School Board Member Abigail Medina’s campaign for State Assembly announced that it topped over 150 endorsements from organizations and individuals.
Upon reaching the 150 threshold, Medina released the following statement:
“Today’s announcement is emblematic of the fact that we’re building a movement to take the 40th Assembly District into a new direction. It’s critical that our community has a progressive voice fighting for progressive issues, like an increased minimum wage, expanded access to schools and colleges, protections for our environment, safeguards for workers’ rights, help for small businesses, and more compassionate immigrant rights laws. I’ve just outlined the issues that these leaders are coalescing around, and together, we are fully committed to acting on them by winning this race and bringing progressive values to the Assembly on behalf of the people of the 40th District.”
